Seeking Sponsors to Help Enact Law across North Dakota
Currently seeking sponsors in Bismarck, Jamestown, Fargo, Grand Forks, Minot, Williston and Dickinson to enact Medical Cannabis laws for patients of North Dakota who are denied the right to alleviate painful, suffering illnesses by unconstitutional State and Federal policies. Sponsors will be required to assist in collecting 20,000 + legitimate verifiable signatures across North Dakota to get a bill into 2010 and 2011 sessions, or until it’s made law. Individuals must be 18 years of age and be North Dakota residents to assist in this necessary change. The use of cannabis as medicine is a public health issue; it should not be part of the war on drugs. Nearly half of all doctors with opinions support legalizing cannabis as a medicine, and over 80 state and national health care organizations -- including the American Nurses Association, American Public Health Association, the American College of Physician, and The New England Journal of Medicine -- support granting qualified patients immediate and unrestricted legal access to medical cannabis.
