I made some cannabis tincture once. Only once because it takes quite a bit of cannabis and time to make. The tincture works really well, but I don't care for it because it burns when you put it under your tongue and hold it there.
Here is my recipe for the tincture though in case you want to try it. I calculated the amounts for different amounts of tincture, in case you don't have as much cannabis as it takes to make a full batch.
Cannabis = 1 oz. = 28.35 grams Everclear Alcohol = 250 ml. = 8.45 oz.
Cannabis = 1/2 oz. = 14.175 grams Everclear Alcohol = 125 ml. = 4.25 oz.
Cannabis = 1/4 oz. = 7 grams Everclear Alcohol = 67.5 ml. = 2.11 oz.
Cannabis = 1/8 oz. = 3.5 grams Everclear Alcohol = 1 oz.
Grind the cannabis until it's very fine and mix the ingredients into a glass jar. Put the jar in a cool dark place and leave it for at least a month. Three months is better. Shake the jar every day and make sure all the cannabis is off the glass and down into the liquid. Once it has sat for the proper time, strain the liquid off into a small dark bottle. Use an eye dropper to put 3-5 drops under your tongue and hold it there as long as you can. As I told you, it burns because of the Everclear. When you can't hold it under your tongue any longer, swish it in your mouth a while before you swallow it.
Tincture is absorbed by mucous membranes in the mouth and does not go through the digestive system, so it works faster than eating goods made from cannabis.
