When it comes to smoking my medicine, I preffer a joint. To me it just tastes better and every puff tastes just as good as the first. I also like joints because I can put it out when I've had enough to ease my pain, and when I need to light it again it still tastes fresh. At least that was the case until a friend who is also a medical cannabis patient showed me his new vaporizer.
I have to say that the vaporizer was great. The cannabis tasted good every time and I didn't cough at all. There was no "smoke" that came out when I exhailed and there was no smell. That really made it nice, because my wife don't like the smell of cannabis. She has never smoked cannabis, but does believe in medicinal cannabis, so to be able to get relief and not have her smell it was a real plus. I only wish I could afford a vaporizer.
The best vaporizer I've heard of is the Volcano. That is a really nice piece of hardware. The heat is adjustable so you can make sure that the plant matter doesn't burn. The bag that catches the vapors holds it intact even when you take a few minutes between puffs, so the vaper is as good then as when you pulled the bag from the Volcano.
Yep, if I ever live to see North Dakota enact medical marijuana laws and I can ever afford one, I'll get a Volcano. Until then, I'll live in pain, or if ND enacts medical cannabis laws before I can afford a Volcano, I'll smoke joints. For no other reason than flavor.
